Let me tell you a little story (and fair warning — it’s a bit embarrassing).
When my husband and I first moved to Salt Lake City, we couldn’t afford our own place. So, we ended up sharing an apartment… with a roommate. Yes, a married couple with a roommate. 😅
It was awkward. It was tight. And honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it.
But looking back? That season was one of the most important ones in our lives. I was juggling student debt, building a social media side hustle, and figuring out newlywed life — all while navigating shared space with a third adult.
Not exactly the Pinterest-perfect dream.
But so full of lessons.
That time of struggle? It taught me grit. Flexibility. Resilience. The stuff you can’t learn in a webinar or a workshop. I had to do whatever it took to build the life I wanted — even if it didn’t look pretty from the outside.

People don’t just want inspiration. They want honesty. And your honesty builds trust.
You don’t need a perfect story arc. You just need to be real. Try this simple formula the next time you’re staring at a blank caption box:

You never know who needs to hear your story today.
Your most relatable content won’t come from perfect photoshoots or clever quotes. It’ll come from your real life. The mess, the lessons, the human stuff. Start there.
